62 Grants Approved In Round 1, 2026

Sixty-two applications (24 Project and Equipment, 27 Travel, 11 Conference Support), requesting a total of $610,728 ($492,604 Project and Equipment, $74,654.25 Travel, $43,470 Conference Support) were received by 1 March 2026.

The members of the Scientific Committee independently scored each application, and the mean scores guided subsequent discussions at a meeting of the Scientific Committee on 20 March 2026.  A total of 35 grants-in-aid were approved at by the Trustees:

·       13 Project & Equipment ($186,848)

·       15 Travel ($37,296)

·       7 Conference Support ($19,500)

Our next funding round closes on 1 June 2026. Applicants are reminded that there is a one-year stand-down period for projects and travel. Project and Equipment applicants must ensure that their chosen referees submit their reports by the due date required (1st June) and all applicants must use the provided standard CV format.
