69 Grants Approved in Round 2, 2026

Sixty-nine applications (28 Project & Equipment, 37 Travel, 4 Conference Support), requesting a total of approximately $680,800 ($554,545 Project & Equipment, $99,695 Travel, $26,560 Conference Support) were received by 1 June 2026.

The members of the Scientific Committee independently scored each application, and the mean scores guided subsequent discussions at a meeting of the Scientific Committee prior to consideration by the Trustees. A total of 47 grants-in-aid were approved by the Trustees:

Our next funding round closes on 1 October 2026. Applicants are reminded that there is a one-year stand-down period for Project & Equipment and Travel funding. Project & Equipment applicants must ensure that their chosen referees submit their reports by the required deadline – 1 October, and all applicants must use the current standard CV template available through the application portal.
